Default B16 nitrous budget

Ok so I have a b16a3 motor that I'm going to put in my daily driver. I'm just rebuilding it but id like to spray it for a little extra power. I'm not looking for anything crazy I just want around 200-215 hp. I have a budget of around $2000 I can go a little over but id like to stay in that range.

Here's what I'm thinking:
-75 shot wet direct port
-Cometic head gasket $80
-Arp rod bolts $100
-Dual valve springs retainers and valve seals $350
-Ported ebay header $70
-Ebay 6 bolt Adjustable cam gears $80
-Stage 3 xtd clutch kit and 10lb flywheel $200
-Tuned on 91
-Rev it until it stops making power
-Direct port nitrous sylonoids and plumbing $360
-Zex purple 10lb bottle $200
-Extra hoses and stuff for nitrous $40
-Colder sparkplugs $20
-Retard timing
-Short ram intake with velocity stack $80
-AEM Fuel Pressure Regulator+Fuel Rail+320lph Fuel Pump B-Series B16 B18C $340
-Oem main and rod bearings $50

Let me know what you guys think!

You don't need the springs and retainers on stock cams.

Don't waste your money on cheap cam gears unless you want to ruin your motor

XTD clutches are ****. Buy something that isn't ****.

You don't need an aftermarket FPR or fuel rail, and a 320lph pump is complete overkill.

Agreed, i seen new titanium skunk2 cam gears break appart and destroy a engine.

I recomend Exedy clutches

Not even remotely. Nor do you need valve springs or retainers. Nor do you need the FPR, fuel rail, or that much pump.

It really depends on how knowledgeable you are with nitrous.

Are you doing the tuning?

The biggest thing with "how much nitrous" is how much the head can flow. I'm not a genius with NOS, but from what I remember reading in the past, the head can't flow much more than 100 foggers. It just ends up pooling in the valves, which then causes combustion in your intake, which ends up causing rather unpleasant explosions.

The rough rule of thumb I've found is no more than 100 shot per liter. So on a b16, don't go higher than a 150 shot or the engine won't be able to injest all the nitrous and it just starts clouding up inside the intake
