Default B16 CRX turbo questions

Well i have pretty much everything to complete me turbo project, however i need some help to make sure i have everything. Here is the list:

-Rebuilt T3 turbo with internal wastegate
-Dodge daytona intercooler
-1st gen eclipse bov
-custom turbo manifold
-DSM 450 injectors
-Apexi VAFC

I plan on getting a fuel pump and i know i need the oil lines, down pipe, and other misc piping to the intercooler and stuff. I guess my main question is that i plan on running the VAFC hack, however i want to boost 8-10psi and im wondering how safe this will be. I have done alot of research on the vafc hack but from what i have seen its been on mostly obd0 and obd1 cars. What would be the best route for me to do the afc hack? Should i do the bluewire conversion or just stick with the way i have it isntalled now and tune it from there? Also, can i just use the settings from http://www.thedropshop.com or should i used a different set of settings? My car is still obd0 and im using the pw0 ecu.

Any info you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated!

I'm boosting 8-10 psi on my stock B16 w/the Hack. It's better than my FMU setup, thus far- meaning less hesitation and smoother vacuum/boost transition. I've been using it for about a month now. The Blue Wire mod is really just a way to use your AFC as a A/F meter. Just wire it up normal.

Thanks for the reply RawB, Do you have your fuel settings set where http://www.thedropshop.com said to put them?

Also, what does your turbo setup consist of? And what fuel injectors are you running? Are you using a boost controller?

Yeah, my settings are just like the article, works for me. I'm using the DSM 450's and Turbo XS MBC.

i would HIGHLY recommend getting an external wastegate. my buddy did turbo on b16 in cxr and had exhaust problems becasu ehe used internal an dhe had to run the wastegate facing the front of the car. so his exhasut ahd to be run around to teh otehr side and teh crossmember got in the way. just problems

This is from LIAM's dropshop -AFC howto...

Q: When running the blue wire mod what exactly are u doing and what does it monitor?
How do you know what is rich or not?

A1. The blue wire mod is used to get a o2 sensor voltage read out on the afc. You connect the normally unused (on a Honda) blue wire to the o2 signal connection on the ecu. One of your sensor monitor selections allows u to see the voltage of the ecu. To read the O2 sensor voltage, scroll down to and select the "etc." menu. Select the "Sensor Check". Of the three readings, O2 voltage will be the middle one (#2).

A.2 (Liam182):
.89+ is rich. You wanna tune to around .90 -> .92 on a turbo Honda. I was running around .89 -> .91. Like .95 is too rich.

Well clearance wont really be an issue. I'm running a 2000 civic Si radiator and no A/C so i have plenty of room

RawB r u running a internal or external wastegate?

MBC stands for Manual Boost Controller..

There are many companies out there too that supply them.. but I've heard good things about http://www.turbosmart.com.au/ and their products..
