Default b series build help

alright im getting ready to start a new build after i just blew the rings out of my b16.. i've done some reaserch and just wanted to hear some other opinons on what kinda setup i should run from your own experience... im going to go stock sleeves with piston/rods and i already have a b16 head ready... i also have the b16 block still in the car and i cant decide if i want to run the b16 again or a gsr, or b18 just need some advice... thanks.. also looked into maybe stroking the b16 a little...i've also looked into putting the ls crank in the gsr.. its going to be probably built for like 14psi. daily and im lookin for a little over 400whp... its mainly a street car.. also has a garrett t3/t4 powering it..

GSR blocks are usually around $300- $500 depending on location and condition. I would try to find one and build it instead of building the B16 block. Then you can sell the b16 block to get money back.

yeah im eventually definitely upgrading the turbo but for now it'll be just the t3/t4 which the bottom end im sure could hold more than 14psi. with a good tune but it'll have mostly a daily tune on it...

so what's the significance of 14psi and 400whp...who cares what PSI it takes to hit 400whp as long as your setup is efficient. Most any 57-60trim will do that...

SILVER SURFER!! It will make 400whp in the 12-14psi range.
