On Average, what did you guys pay for your Crower Rods?
Hey guys. I just wanted to know how much (on avg) a set of Crower rods are for Honda/Acura. I just bought a set for my Saturn DOHC and it drained me $650. My ******* is still bleeding. Is this normal? lol

Dude, my mechanic always lubes me up with red line before he rapes me for 650.
You paid retail ! you got list, you are a mall shopper - its okay you'll learn.
I always call places and say I am a shop, anyone you know with a business can basically get jobber prices if they call from and have it delivered to a business.
Anyway since you own a Saturn and belong to the Saturn family you can return the rods to your mechanic if you lose your job within 30days. That's a plus!!!!!

LoL. The reason I paid $650 was because the other options were $670 (direct from Crower) or $700 from a Saturn "specialist." (laugh...) I was gonna get reamed either way.. so I chose the less painful of the 3. The problem is that no one makes rods for my car. Take Eagle for instance. They only make shelf rods.. no custom work. None for Saturns. Crower was my only option.

I paid $614.00 Dealer Cost for my Crowers! SR20 parts are alot more expensive than Honda/Acura Parts! I assume that since you car is a Saturn, the cost is more just like us Nissan guys get hit with. Eagle announced @ SEMA that they will be making rods for the SR20 for $300.00 dealer cost! I can't wait! I will have a back up motor as soon as they are released!

wont raceeng give them to you or less if you go to their store? and then thereis that other shop down the street you can play them by saying the other shop is cheaper bye I am leaving.
All the shops up here give me everything for just over cost.
If that doesnt work you can try wearing buttless chaps when shopping!!
