I'm sure you have also looked at the vacuum lines to the solenoid to make sure that they are not cracked or have a hole in them.

they are all brand new, they came with the AVC-R, in the package, but yes, i have inspected them.

What size spring is in the wastegate? You will probably want to try and get another solenoid.

wastegate is holding the car at about 8psi when i disconnect the solinoid.

I'd hate to buy another solinoid for another $150 bux and have it turn out to not be the problem. Like i said earlier, apexi's test for the solinoid was to put a 12v power and a ground to it. "if it click's, it's good" is what apexi tech's said.

this is really frustrating.

Is there something special about that solinoid? I'm starting to wonder if i can test this thing by putting a 12v solinoid in there from my buddy's air ride setup on his truck....

yes.. starting to get desperate!

soo summit racing, one of the biggest sellers of automotive performance parts doesn't have an AVC-R in stock at any of their locations, let alone just the solinoid...
