Default AVCR problem

I'm having problems holding boost with the AVCR in first, second and third gear.

In fourth and fifth gear the boost holds fine.

In the first three gears even though I have it set to 1 bar it fluctuates between 0.75-1.00 constantly. I can even hear it, it sounds like a leak, but I doublechecked everything and nothing is leaking.

I know it does this because of the boost controller because if I boost off the wastegate with a tee fitting the boost holds fine in all gears.

Anybody has any ideas? Could the solenoid be bad and cause it to do this? If so why is it fine once it's in fourth and fifth gear?

Help!!!

Im having a similar prob, im tryin to hold a bar at 1 kg/cm2 at 54 duty cylce it underboosts a little. So I put it at 55 duty cycle then it over boosts, I swear it held a bar fine in 3rd gear till redline 8k, but in 4th it overboosts. 1 bar=1kg cm2 ,thinking of actually reducing it to like .95kg/cm2 and playin with the duty cycle. Wouldnt it be possible to reduce the boost say .90 kg/cm2 and raise the duty cycle and it would still be a bar even though .90 kg/cm2 isnt a bar.
If so how do you calculate what pressure boost your on if the duty cycle maniplulates the actual outcome? Im on .80 kg/cm2 with 45 duty cycle am I at 11.7 pounds or some undetermined pressure?

But yes my problem is in direct relation to this guys problem, same thing.

I like miens. adjsuting boost is pretty damn easy. I jsut elave miens target boost set at 1KG/cm2 and just use purely the duty cycle to change boost setting. I find whnever I payl with the target boost, it doesn't do ANYTHING for me, only payling with duty cycle does which I'm totally fine with. I've played with the egar depednent portion a bit, btu I must have my calculations wrong cause when I set a certain psi to be lwoer in 5th gear for testing. it also did it to 4h gear. 3rd egar was un effected. same with 1st gear. lwoered it in 1st, and it lowered it in 2nd as well.

Yeah I have no problems understanding how to adjust the boost; like said above, the duty cycle is what controls it. It's just that in the lower gears I'm not getting the same boost throughout the rev range. If I plot the boost with the AVCR recording feature, my boost line looks very choppy in first, second and third, but is totally straight in fourth and fifth.

That's what my problem is.

I still haven't found a solution.

ive never had a problem with mine. holds boost perfect. i use the boost setting as a "rough" tune for boost and then dial it in the the duty to get the AVCR to hold at my desired level.

still have to play a bit more with the gear judge.
