Default AVC-R problem...

was at the track tonight and when i press the scramble button, the car would pretty much shut off temporarily, for about a tenth of a second or two, and the shift light from the hondata would come on and then it would pick up pace again.

the AVC-R is set in between 10-11 psi and when the sscramble feature is activated it is set for 12-13 psi.

i would appreciate some insight on this.

thank you.

when i go to the ETC. screen on the AVC-R, where it displays whether the sensors and scramble button is functioning correctly, it shows that the scramble button is off when the button isn't pressed and on when the button is pressed.

so, the install of the scramble button seems to be okay.

thank you. </TD></TR></TABLE>

What map sensor do you have? If your on the stock map then it's going to happen because Hondata with stock map can only follow up to 11.3 psi.

GM 3 bar map sensor. so, i don't believe that would be the problem.
