Default autometer boost/vac gauge question

i've got an autometer boost/vac gauge its the mechanical gauge and have had it on the car for a while.. it worked fine when i bought it, now when the car is off the gauge reads 4 or 5 inches of vacuum, which is leading me to believe that the gauge is off now for some reason.. my question is, is there any way to recalibrate it? or do i just have to get a new one?

ok, thanks ill have to call them and see whats up i kinda figured it was shot, but i thought maybe there was some hope to fix it since they arent exactly cheap and i dont really drive the car that often if anyone knows anything about recalibrating it id appreciate it!

i have same one. when my car is off it reads just slightly in the vac range. and i have a 7psi set up and the gauge only hits about 5 psi. so it may just be lil off. i think mine is

well i know when i first bought it and installed it it worked fine, and now it is reading off. its probably about 4 years old, it just kinda pisses me off cuz its not like they're exactly cheap and they have no way to be recalibrated... i might try to take it apart and reset it to zero.. whats the worst that can happen? its already not working right.

im pretty sure the face is crimped on so even if you get it off it will probably be mangled with no way to get it back on. i say it served you well for 4 years, grab a new one they are only like $50 for the standard mechanical gauge
