ATTN: People with 4" Inlet on turbo, intake filter question.
what would be the best way to put a filter on my 4" Inlet turbo? Right now i just have the filter jammed on it. What type of piping size/material should I use to make a short intake pipe maybe?
t3/60-1 turbo spun around so filter is on driverside. i was thinking of removing power steering to free up more room to route intake.
btw rubber couplings are since gone.

wow that 60-1 is pretty big. it appears bigger than a sc61.
i know it s off topic but i was wondier how this 60-1 in this thread compares to a sc61?

Re: (NextelBuddy)
I'm going to use the K&N 4"inlet filter (pn RD-1450) that Geoff @ fullrace recommended I use. It's 6" long and fits between the turbo and drivers side framerail. Larry

This is what I'm doing...not because I like the filters, but because I have no room.
Thats the price you pay to have a large turbo in a CRX.

You can use the K & N model # ru2520 which is 4" inlet 5" long, or if you wont clear you can use model # ru2510 4" inlet 3 1/2" long

they supposedly dont filter as well as some..i wouldnt be too worried about it though..ive ran them on a couple different cars for over 15k miles and no problems..just change the element every so often.
