intake filter random question

what is it that makes the k&n filter better than the ones that come with aftermarket intakes?

i dont know what the difference is from one filter to another...

I did, and I believe I will stay away from them. You can NOT have greater air flow through a filter media of equal size without sacrificing filtration. Their own website supports this fact. (Filters better the dirtier it gets)
