Not **** poor support, I think those guys just dont know. We had problems withthe first one and they told us to use a standard usb cable no serial adaptor needed, as we all know is bs. We were installing it on a turbo P5 and called for some tech support, they said "we dont support mazda installations", wtf....I had a question about the wiring on the emanage that had nothing to do with it being a mazda, could have been a honda for all they know. But since I said the word Mazda, he would not even answer a single question about the wiring colors on the emanage. Load of ***** DA's.

But it didnt work. It still doesnt connect. I need the usb driver for it, not the update yet. first, i think you need to connect to the emanage, and then get the updates. well the update isnt the problem. the computer recognizes a conncetion between the two things and says new hardware found. then it looks to find a driver for it and searches the cd and harddrive and finds nothing. This is the dilema. I called greddy and they said there is a floppy disk with it on it, but i think that is just the update. HELP!!!!!! If any one has aol then can try and help. shoelax2 or sneezinhatch are the 2 of us</TD></TR></TABLE> Sometimes...you have to manually look for the driver in the cd...don't do the autosearch for the driver. Do manually...
Make sure u have it wired right

After getting that done, you need to get your wiring harness tagged and prepped for the install. The best way I found to do this, is to take a sticky note or small square of paper, write the information on the paper, and use clear tape to tape it around the wire, so you have a little tag to go by. On this tag, I put what the wire was, and what wire you had to tap or cut for it on the ECU. For this, I made my own wiring diagrams of what ECU pins are used, and what position they are in:
So, the power wire had a tag on it that said "PWR A11", which meant, it was the power wire, and you tapped into the wire on position A11 of the ECU harness.
Instead of trying to go by that shitty diagram that came with the kit, I also made my own pinout diagram and wiring description of the Emanage main harness:
Here is a chart that I made showing what pin on the Emanage main harness went to what pin on the ECU, and what color the wires should be:
Emanage to OBD2 ECU Wiring Color/Pin Matches
Emanage Color ECU Color ECU Pin Harness Type
Purple/Red Yellow A1 Emanage Main
Yellow/Red Blue A2 Emanage Main
Orange/Red Red A3 Emanage Main
Blue/Red Brown A4 Emanage Main
Grey D1 Emanage Main
White Red/Green D3 Emanage Main
Black/Red Black A10 Emanage Main
Red Yellow/Black A11 Emanage Main
Black Brown/Black A9 Emanage Main
Brown Yellow/Green A20 Emanage Main
Green Red/Green D3 Emanage Main
After that, if you have done your research right and tagged everything as best you could, your main harness is ready to go.
Now, for the ignition harness, things are a little foggy to me at the moment. Here is a diagram of how to install the wires into the harness connector, Greddy didn't feel it necessary to do that for you, even though the wiring on the Emanage will be the same for every vehicle, some just use more of it than others.

I don't yet know what pins on the ECU serve as the ignition pulse controlers for the car, but as soon as I do, I will make another diagram or it for you and show what pins need tapped for it to work correctly. If anyone has a diagram of ALL pinounts for an OBD2 96-2000 Civic, PLEASE let me know
After you have all your harnesses ready, its install time. This is VERY easy. All you have to do is tap into all but 1 wire for the Emanage main harness. The best way to do this is to remove a portion of the ECU wiring jacket, maybe 1/2 inch in length, spread the wire out so there is a small hole in it, enough to pull another wire trough. Once thats done, pull the corresponding Emanage main harness wire through the hole and twist it around the ECU wire. I would suggest soldering, but this is a very strong method of tapping wires and not having to solder should you want to remove this later. Repeat this process for all wires but the MAP sensor wire. This one you have to cut and loop though the Emanage before it gets to the ECU. This is so the Emanage only sees the boost. The Emanage will correct the voltage output of the MAP sensor before sending it to the ECU, which prevents a CEL(check engine light). The Emanage harness comes with male and female connectors on the MAP wires, and supplies you with more to complete the circuit on the ECU wires. Put opposite connectors on the ECU wire; Ex. The Green wire for the Emanage comes with a female connector installed from the factory, so you would install a male connector on the end of the wire that it goes to on either the ECU or out to the MAP sensor. Do this on both the White and Green wires. Tape up all of your taps and put the ECU back in its factory position. Where you mount the Emanage is up to you, I still have mine sitting in the floor untill I get it completely connected. Once you start the car(providing it actually DOES start) there should be 2 lights on the opposite side of the harness connection points, one orange and one green. BOTH of these should be illuminated if the unit is hooked up correctly. If your car doesnt start, make sure you set the jumpers in the right positions for your car using the chart that I provided above in the first section.
Thats about everything that you would need to know about the main Emanage harness anyways, the injector harness is still in the works for me at this point

i can not find the rpm pinout on my ecu is there even one for an obd1 ecu you have to wire it in yet i dont have one (my car is obd1 all that wiring info was for the obd2 96 civics)
wow really good stuff i wish i had this when i did mines i just went at it blindly and used the blue box diagram as a base, good stuff i should go check see if my wiring is up to par
