I just talked to greddy about the emange support tool. They said they cant help me cause i am not a dealer (B.S.). The laptop will connect to the emanage but it needs a driver. I am using windows xp if that makes a difference. Does anyone know where to get the driver? Has anyone used it with XP. also, i do have the cd for it and it didnt find anything on the actual cd. HELP!!!!!

all i can say is fucl< the greddy emanage and get a Hondata, greddy screws everone over...they came personally to fix my buddy's RSX type S turbo kit and didnt give him the password to unlock the vtec controller...screw greddy.

You will have to get the support tool with Greddys cable. It is a USb to serial cable where the serial connector has a validation code inside. Without this cable the computer will not communicate with the emanage.

 

right i got all the cables and now all i need is the update. I think it is at the website.

the latest news.... i got the newest verison of the part of the update. But it didnt work. It still doesnt connect. I need the usb driver for it, not the update yet. first, i think you need to connect to the emanage, and then get the updates. well the update isnt the problem. the computer recognizes a conncetion between the two things and says new hardware found. then it looks to find a driver for it and searches the cd and harddrive and finds nothing. This is the dilema. I called greddy and they said there is a floppy disk with it on it, but i think that is just the update. HELP!!!!!! If any one has aol then can try and help. shoelax2 or sneezinhatch are the 2 of us

another ****** problem. we tryed to unistall the support tool and then reinstall, but we threw out the serial number. Does anyone have a serial number that we can use. this emanage is more and more problems. Iknow i know...... hondata.

make sure your usb/serial is set to com 4

 

02210 is the serial #

 

that number doesnt work i remember there being more numbers than that but anyway when i type that in the next button doesnt light up to click it

 

ok i got my support tool back up again installed im past that....but still no connection who out there didnt use a serial port (only has usb on thier laptop) i really need help with this im sorry for all this hassle but i NEED to figure this out i changed the usb thing to com 4 and then i changed it to com5 dont ask how but i need someone who used the usb to serial port conversion so i can ask how they connected it thank you

 

Once you plug up the usb item the computer should pick it up and install the necessary driver for it to work. Go to "my computer" and change it to com 4 which is the default location in the emanage software. Make sure your emanage is powered up too.

 

Well..... the newest news. I went and borrowed a laptop with a serial port in the back from my uncle. We tried hooking it up with just the serial port to usb connection with the cables supplied by greddy. We still have no connection when we click on the support tool. Is there any settings that need to be changed in order to connect. I really am pretty fed up with the emanage.

Also, when you take the plate off the side of the unit, there are mad **** to turn. the ones to the left are confusing me. I found out that the first of the three needs to be set at 2, then the next at 8, then the last one i dont know? confused?

Greddy are ********, they say the same thing to everyone. I tried to ask them the differences in the airflow meter settings today - said the same thing to me....contact the dealer where you bought it. **** poor support for their products. I don't understand how they can claim its a liability issue when about 75% of the other aftermarket companies out there help their customers out.... bullshit greddy....
