I sold an e-manage that I got with a Greddy 19T kit. The item was never installed and the person that purchased the item said that the unit is password protected and he can't get the unit to run. Has anyone had this problem or no of any fix for it. I don't know if the guy is pulling my leg or what. You help would be greatly appreciated.

I told him to contact greddy but they won't help him because the item was purchased second hand.

 

Tell him to try to update the unit with the most current firmware update from Greddy. Not sure if this would work but it's worth trying.

The problem with trying to get any help from them is that they don't know if it is a stolen part or not, tell him to give you the unit back and you deal with it.

 

You need to contact Greddy directly regarding this issue. They more than likely will be able to supply you with the necessary password.

Greddy will not give you the password. the password is for there 50 state legal turbo kits. what you can do is (don't remember if this is exact) go to the export data and its going to say something like "password protected would you like to reset the maps" basically greddy won't allow you to work off of the maps they have created but you can erase the maps and start from scratch. Call greddy tech and ask for kenji he knows EVERYTHING about the e-manage.
