Sup guys, anyone having experience in gains by having a screamer pipe instead of recirculating the wastegate back to exhaust?

My 2.5" dp and straight through exhaust is borderlining max potential, wondering if that venting to atmo would reduce a bit of pressure. Also, current downpipe setup have the external wastegate recirculated right after the turbine (2" off from the outlet flange) which is not the best.
