Default arp headstuds

Was wondering how many times i can reuse my arp headstuds? I have had the head of 3 times in the past and my headgasket is leaking so i need to pull it again. Just wanted to be sure that they are ok to use for a fourth time. Thanks

I always thought they were good for about 3 cycles. I bet you $10 they will be just fine if you use them again. Im just curious as to why your headgasket is leaking?

I'd definatly check the decking on that block and have the head checked out if you keep going through head gaskets. I'd also double check the torque sequence and specs your using to hold her down.

hey thanks for the replys. I am just goin to use them again. The first time the studs were used the motor was set up for all motor. then i went to turbo and my car caught on fire so the motor came apart again. now the head gasket is leaking. it sucks because i did have the block and head check after the fire to make sure nothing was warped, thats why i pulled it apart, and everything was fine. so i dont know. but it is definetly not the dist. or vtec solnoid. so we will just have to saee what happens.

I have an ls/vtec and I never heard that. I'm running the Golden Eagle ls/vtec conversion kit with the OEM GSR head gasket that came with the kit. I just bolted her on with the ARP head studs to the manufactures spec and been boosting 13.6lbs ever since.

I build mine a year ago so when I was doing all my research I may have forgotten anything about it and who knows maybe it also has somehting to do with the dowel pins that come with the GE kit. If Endyn recomends it I'd say it's a safe bet to trust them but being that I haven't heard it before and I researched for a year before my build I'd call just to double check or go through the archives here on HT. Whatever it is I hope you get it taken care of. It's alot of work to pull the head on our hondas.
