ive got a b18c in my hatch and am looking to turbo it. I looked through the faq threads but didnt see anything really pretaining to my ?????. Is there any major downside doing forced induction on this motor.... it is in excellent shape, pulls strong, dosent burn oil, no leaks etc. I just want to choose the best option. i know that a turbo kit is a lot of upkeep but i can handle it. any help would be great. and if your looking for honda parts, iam your guy!!

 

sounds like the motor is healthy, i would get a compression and leakdown check anyway, just to have a baseline of how the motor is before hand. but other than that you should be good to go.

research a lot. do it right once instead of wrong twice.

As long as your motor is fine go ahead, and dont cheap out on ****. Do it right the first time so you wont have to a second time, also get a tune and for the love of god research please.
