defintiely looks like a mustang style intercooler very beefy stuff the design is definietly going to flow but like people have stated it will be hard to rig your piping up overall it can be done

some of you people are so closed minded, it's scary

1- top to bottoms flow like crazy compared to similar side to side ICs
2- very little pressure drop
3- depending on the size of a side to side, the side to side could be a little bit more efficient, but since the top to bottoms flow so much better the turbo doesn't have to work as hard (more efficient) so the advantages of a side to side are often negated

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by m R g S r &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Wouldn't piping be a pain because the TB is on the opposite side of where the IC exits. . . </TD></TR></TABLE>

Am I wrong or couldn't I just flip the intercooler over to have the inlet and outlet on the same side? Then I would have everything on the passenger side, turbo compressor, intercooler inlet, intercooler outlet, and also the TB. Something like this....

that would also work , just be a tight fit because you would be running 2 intercooler pipes on the same side.

Yea, I'm sure it will be tight. Something that might help that is I have no radiator right now and am not going to be running a/c, so if I have to I will move the radiator to the driverside (like I read you did this also). Make more of a direct path from turbo to intercooler. I'm trying to reamedy stripped block holes right now. I figure if I can't bolt a head to my block than what good is this intercooler anyway. I hope it doesn't come down to a junk block. I have the 1/2" arp headstuds ready to go to the machine shop with the block, head and head gasket tho. So in the end this intercooler may not be enough for what I want.

It's rated to 760hp, What will that actually turn out being in realitly? how much can you actually go by the rated hp#?

Back from the dead, 1080 cfm would be good to what whp? I think I am going to use this one and maybe, try to flip the one end tank (if it is possible).

need factual input on this intercooler tho, rated to 760hp and flows 1080cfm, besides design and all that, what is an intercooler with that rating actually good for whp wise?

The manifold I am building is going to revolve around what intercooler I am using, so i kind of need to figure out how good this one is. thanks
