7-8psi on a gsr properly tuned is 280-300hp depending on supporting mods
turbo is a little late to spool but perfect for a daily driver who wants great gas mileage and good power at the same time

if you're still looking to buy a turbo, i would suggest not getting the 60-1 for a stock internal dd....it spools rather late for a street application IMO. A 57 trim will make the same power but spool a thousand or so RPM faster

quick spooling isn't always great for a street car, with my 60-1 i got great traction compared to many friends who ran a 50/57 trim, their quick spool led to loss of traction while my late spool helped with traction
my friend has a 57 trim that spools up at like 4200 rpm, made 40 more hp and has a lighter car yet i pulled better times than him because he spun to do all that power down low
although if you run a drag radial on the street the quicker you can put the power down the better

I agree that quick spooling isn't always best, but i already run 225/50/15 BFG Drag radials on the street so i welcome my fast spooling turbo I've run a 60-1 on a topmount, my GT3255b on a topmount and now my GT3255b is on a shorty...the shorty is 100x better than either of those other setups IMO

Re: (Schister66)
well, i run the t3 60-1.
i have it on my 84mm lsvtec and i hit 7-8 psi by 3500ish.
i also ran it on a bone stock ls last year, and it wasnt hitting 7-8 psi till 4500.
id expect full boost of 8 psi in the 3900-4200 range, but you wont really get the car cranking till after vtec anyhow

what turbine wheel and housing was this?
it's spooling 2-3psi at 3500 for me. 84mm also. stage5 wheel .63 housing

Re: Anyone running t3 60-1 on DD GSR?
60-1 is a very good turbo for the street. stock internals or built with a good tune. you should see 250-300hp..wild guess!! and you will have room for more if you ever build it.

Re: Anyone running t3 60-1 on DD GSR?
No, it is NOT a good turbo for the street. Think about it, how often do you redline your gears on the public streets ? A better choice would be T3/T04e 57 Trim. You need torque in your low-midrange, not near redline on the street.

yeah your right..its more for drag racing.
but its not that laggy for the street. its gets the job done for me..
but 60-1 or to4e both good snails in my opinion for the street
