anyone have experience with IB Annihalator packages for b18c
I'm looking into going turbo on my GSR. I don't wanna run a crazy amount of boost but i want a strong motor that could handle some boost. I need a reliable motor for some good driving because i'm in the marines and i'll be doing a lot of driving. I basically want je pistons 9:1, crower rods, darton sleeves with basically all new bearings, seals, hot tank and all that good stuff including balance and blueprint. So the package from IB looks pretty good. It's like 3900. Does anyone have experience with them or have a motor built by them. I've only heard good things about them but i've never heard of anyone actually having them build the motor. Then a little bit down the road i'll get the parts for the turbo but i just wanna go ahead and get the motor ready. Let me know.

I said the same thing when I got my h22 turbo'd.... "5lbs, no more", i said. Now that I have a bent valve, My brother said, lets just go all out so we can have peace of mind....
Personally, I would go all out just incase, but that's just me...

Re: (DrkGreenAccord)
i'm not asking if i should do all that work or not i'm asking if anyone has experience with the quality of the work that import builders does. I don't wanna send them my block and have everything done then i finnally get on the road and everything is fucked up. I just want to see if anyone has this done to their block from import builders and what do they think about it. Is it reliable, quality work, or would they reccommend someone else for the job and is it a reasonable price?

Re: (TruePlayaz114)
i have mixed feelings on them. i've had two motors built by them. the first one was top notch but the second one i had them do for my turbo, was a piece of crap. it was missing numerous peices which i had to find and i had to end up rebuilding it since the crank and bearings were all messed up when they put it together.

I dont think you should have them build it. Just get all the best parts by yourself. find out which brands are working for people and get those things. At import builders its a complete package and some stuff might be good and some might be ok. YOu want to get everything that is the best so i would reccomend just buying all the parts yourself and then have a reputable builder to the motor. but look into it more. later
