I have never had a problem. I've only drove about 700 miles and 400 was the clutch break in. But no, stock coolant system should hold up fine if everything else is done right( IE: fuel, timming, etc...)

if everything checks out in the cooling system..........my next move would be the headgasket.

Are any of you guys running big intercoolers??? Cause i could feel a huge difference with my cooling system after my intercooler was stealing all my cold air that the rad needed...I upgraded to a dual core and have no problems.

if your fuel is not done (pump, injectors and so on) the engine will heat up...if you have your fuel done that baby will hold up 13psi fine...i ran low boost for about 8,000 miles 13psi on stock eveything and the fuel was done and never ran into overheat issues....

ditto - I have a GReddy kit and it started overheating. Got a JR thermostat and Mugen fan switch. Now it runs cooler than stock.
