hey everyone, whats goin on, well i've emade my own downpipes etcc before but usually i'd ave to have the car to mock up whats the DP supposed to be at, ow long and how close to the oil pan etcc. well anywasy, anyone got any tips on where i should aim for on the oil pan * middlee, near the grooves etcc* i just want the end of the pipe to end up were it sould be, then ill flare it out so the pipe inside can move and my guy can run a exhaust clamp so he can adjsut te length to however he wants.

BTW home made turbo CRX--- DX motor. 2.5 inc dp

If you dont have the engine to mock-up on, then I dont see how it can be done, besides copying an existing one or using a jig(a device that clamps and holds every individual piece in the correct locations so that all you have to do is weld, incase you didnt know). I make all my manifolds/DPs with just the head and block, and I havent had any complaints yet. Of course the buyer understands that he will have to have a shop connect the DP to the exhaust, or run open DP
