Default Any Zdyne users running big injectors?

I just wanted to know how 660cc to 720cc injectors idle? Can they idle at 1000rpm or does it have to be up around 1500rpm. Lastly how toxic are they at idle?

i imagine zdyne is similar to hondata, if so 720s will idle solid as low as 600.

Hey Mike, My friend uses 660's in his hatch and it idles fine......(well you gotta let it completely warm up first) Also I'll be using 720's in my car and I'll let you know how they go. All I have to do is wire up my 3bar MAP sensor and weld the O2 sensor bung in the DP and I can start my car. As far as how toxic it is, All I can say is it smells fast!! haha, j/k. Not to go off topic but did you get your car dyno tuned???

I have not dyno tuned it yet, because I have to address my fuel system first. I am very lean with my 450cc injectors and intank pump. I just bought a 255 intank Walbro pump last night that I will be changing on the weekend along with some 550cc injectors that a buddy is lending me. If I am safe for fuel I will buy a set, if not I will grab a set of 720cc injectors. Then I have to address my exhaust, I am running 2 1/4 pipe to a 2 inch muffler and 2 inch tail pipe. But I still have not made up my mind yet if I want to do 3" all the way through or 2 1/2". I just don't want a loud car. My buddy also has that FJO wideband o2 that we will use to tune the car. Once I get my A/R bang on I will go to the dyno for fine tuning (cam gears, fuel pressure and timing). When all is said and done I am looking for at least 300whp anything more would be gravy. Good luck with your setup bro and keep us posted.

turboedef9- My buddies doing a group buy right now on a Zdyne Gold ecu. He has another person involved in it with him. If you 3 guys do it together you will be able to save a pretty penny. Without a groupbuy its $1000 U.S (plus extras, ie: vtec feature) with 3 people its $775U.S(plus extras, ie: vtec feature -big difference). If your interested in this group buy email my buddy Peter at peter.cuffy-bell.ca (work email address) or linx@pathcom.com (home address). He is a straight up guy and I can fully vouch for him.

LsTurbo91 has a Zdyne and 750cc's, he said he had to adjust his idle to like 950, but other than that they worked great.

I've got 550's in my car, and it runs and idles great, BUT I can't figure out the startup enrichment factor... I've tried everything from 0 to 120% , and nothing seems to help... any suggestions on my problem?

AGen2integra- Good to see you finally got that bad boy started. Double check and triple check everything before boosting. I just installed in Walbro 255 pump last night. On a 91 Integra what a task. I have to go to church on Sunday to ask for some forgiveness for all the swearing I was doing last night. I took out my 150 pump and threw in the 255, Wow what a difference. My topend is nuts. I hit it in 3rd gear and it used to just pull pretty decent. Now when I hit it in 3rd it just blows away my tires (205/40/17), when it grabs the pull is awesome. I had to double check the boost guage because I thought I was overboosting (car never pulled like that at 10 psi). I have never had traction problems like this before. The pump made a huge difference. Can't wait to change my injectors. I will be testing tonight with the wideband to see how safe I am.

Yeah.....my friend has a Motec PLM, so we used that to tune to 1750 rpm (the car is not inspected or insured yet) so once I can actually drive the car we will tune it better. Its funny because we were trying to start my car and the firing order was wrong (I forgot that I ordered the Zdyne w/Vtec feature, so its different from stock) so all we did was switch the firing order around and the first try after that it fired up. I was/am so happy!!!!
