a/f ratio at idle??help
I just got finished with my turbo install. Im runnung a hondata s200 with a base map from my tuner. When I start the car it runs very rough and dies. The idle goes up and down the whole time. My a/f is ~14.5 when I first start the car. I have a plx 300 that is running by itself. The stock narrow band is still in place. What do you guys idle at?Help Im stressing!

The plx starts at 14.5-14.8 because it's not warmed up....give it about 30-40 seconds and it will give you the true readings. If you can't even idle something is wrong with the basemap (could be wrong injector size)

The timing/fuel maps shouldnt have to be adjusted too much to get the car to idle pretty well.
Check to make sure you told your tuner the right injector size.

no. a base map should idle almost perfect as the idle map is almost identical to stock aside from minor changes for the larger injectors.
My car idled like stock on a BASEmap, just a lil rich. Saying that its idling like **** cause its a basemap is just plain wrong.
Either your tuner mapped you for the wrong size injectors or something in the engine is wrong or not connected right.... any vacuum leaks? Any CELs?

Re: a/f ratio at idle??help (turbotime)
Im running 750cc injectors. I just got back from my tuner. At the time of the base map being burned the first time he forgot to program that I map a gm 3-bar MAP sensor. The car idles fine now.
