actually i told tony when we started development on it, besides, the guys that came up with the idea didnt even know the t1 hall pick up exsisted until i told them.

we initially came up with the idea for v8's, and made it completely modular and small so we can adapt it to any application we feel the need for in the future

I dont think thats possible due to the single ignition output from the ecu.

Devin had told me a few months ago about the development on these, nice to see them coming to the market. I'll have to try one of these out.

no it replaces the distributor and is single channel. however it has reliability issues. the AEM unit is coil on plug only, and i'd assume you could do waste spark.

tony's cam trigger can be used single channel, waste spark, or coil on plug.

sucks 4 channel ignition boxes are so expensive. COP really cleans up the engine bay.

The AEM twinspark/CDI boxes were affordable from AEM, but the reliability is hit or miss on them. I have tuned a few cars running them with no issues, and some that didnt last more than a few "key on key off" cycles while tuning. This product would really compliment the twinspark if they get everything straightened out. Can anyone from AEM on here comment about the CDI boxes availability or product redesign?

I would be so interested in a new one if they were more reliable. I have one of the older units and scrapped the entire COP project because reliable 4-channel CDI's are just too expensive. I'm running a Digital 6 with the T1 trigger now.

The EPM works extremely well, and I have tested it in the crazy harsh conditions of my engine bay without any qualms: solid mounts, over 10,200rpms, and all.

I also sell the EPM units as well...PM for details and prices.
