I have a boosted accord, and i was curious about the reliability and longevity if the motor when you are daily driving on stock internals..how long is the estimated time that the motor will hold up...I ahve been told 1 year maybe less....is this true??

Depends on "tuning" and boost level.

In maximum boost it says that you "should" expect up to 90% of normal engine life when boosted...

That's assuming you are on a perfect tune, have quality parts/installation, use the appropriate octane gas, are within a safe boost range etc...

There are so many factors to consider... if you do it right, you can expect quite a bit of life from your turbo setup...

In my experience, most people either get bored and turn up the boost beyond a safe level, which blows the engine, or they build another engine before the stocker gives way...

It could last 5 seconds, or 5 years.

Depends on a bunch of factors, most of them are within your control.
