Default Any insite on this matter would be helpful. (turbo build)

Well I have a 1990 Integra that I am (very) slowly building. At the moment I have;

Build B16A2, stock displacement, 9:1 compression, block guard, etc. The head has been ported A LOT, flows superbly great. I have a Neukin equal length manifold, Tial 38mm wastegate, some 1000cc injectors if need be, and the turbo I am going to be using is a Garrett T3/T04E .48 A/R (exhaust) and a 60 trim on the cold side.

Lets say I am using ITR or CTR cams. What do you think my power band would be like, and HP levels at around lets say.... 10 and 20-25 lbs?

I hear the turbo can make 300, but what about low 400's at 20-25lbs on a great tune?


And I'm sure I can get more power with a good turbo cam. My last question is this... This turbo should run out of breath at around 5000 rpm chances are, so could I run a turbo cam with a more agressive VTEC profile to make more power at the upper end? (I have a 9000rpm limit to play with if need be.)

I'm rather new to posting on this forum in particular, I've just been staying over at G2IC.

where are you getting your numbers from? ie 300hp, and running out of juice at 5000rpm.

Sorry I jumbled a lot of that up. I was up way to late.

Anyway. I'm basically wondering what kind of power numbers this turbo can make on a 1.6 just a good ballpark.

The numbers I get from some of the members on the G2 site.

I'm just asking if any one has ran this turbo. And how it did. That's all I'm really wondering about in the long run.

Garrett Ballistic Series T3/T04E .48 exhaust, .60 intake.
