Any harm in boosting with a leaking downpipe?

Default Any harm in boosting with a leaking downpipe?

I had a run in on some railroad tracks and took of my downpipe. Will boost do any harm to my motor?

tune might be a lil off if you tuned with full exhaust

No, I got stuck on some railroad tracks, and the only way to get off was letting the railroad to rip off my downpipe.

It broke the 3 bolts at the turbo, and the 2 at my cat, and now its pretty much junk.

on a side note though, exhaust will be coming out the side of your turbo if your downpipe is off, so it could melt **** under your engine bay. All that heat will destroy ****...and possibly cause a fire.

Your o2 sensor won't read correctly if you have downpipe leak.

he doesnt have a downpipe, i dont think that matters lol

The county I live in Ga, has the most dirt roads in the state, so im sure you can just imagine our railroad crossings.
