if i were either of these people that are waiting on manifolds...i wouldnt want earl or any other person moving or locking these threads...this is important information to know.

I think its just a case of OneFab having too many coals in the fire, too few employees, and customers assuming the product will ship as if it was ordered from Amazon.com. As mentioned above, do the contract deal - to many people, a 7-month wait costs more than a pre-made manifold's extra expense.

I spoke to Matt on AIM two days ago, he states he tried to get the mani and dp out last week BUT needed some elbows to finish. He is working on your stuff now and stated should be going out by the end of the week. :Crossing fingers:

I am now a dealer for Phoenix Turbo/PeakBoost and they have been AWESOME with turn around on the manifolds and the full turbo kits!

Ok I hate to throw fuel on this already huge flame But My story is provide to get some opinions of anyone who has first hand knowledge with my situation, not to beat the already dead horse or flame Matt or 1Fab....
Here we go. My order was placed with Matt at 1Fab 26 Oct 05. I was in the market for there top mount, downpipe, dump, and the highly anticipaatedPT-67 BB turbo from precision. My order is -quote- on hold because the PT-67 has been on back order and Precision has not been able to get them in fast enough. When I call precision I am told that if my order was placed in the first week of November I should have been one of the first 5 people in the country to get the turbo. Since I order it in October I’m thinking my name should be #1,2,or 3 on this list. However this is all the information I am able to squeeze out of Precision since they hold any other information secrete to their distributors. So I have precision staff in complete shock that I ordered a turbo in October but have yet to get it. And I have Matt telling me that my turbo is still on back order and precision is telling him to check back next week over and over. But after reading a few resent thread I can’t help but wonder if someone is driving around with my Pt-67 on there car, if my order will ever be fulfilled, and how much longer I will have to wait.

What I would like to know from recent 1Fab customers, Precision Turbo Insiders, PT-67 Ball bearing Turbo owners, or anyone with some inside info is.

1. How many people know of this PT-67 Ball bearing version Turbo running around and when did they get it?
2. How many people here are on the list to get one (precision says 80+ are on back order)
3. Is there anybody here that can vouch for the one fab team on a timeliness order of fabricated parts with in the last 6 months to a year
4. Is there anybody here that works for precision that could possibly email me some current information about this PT-67 BB

because maybe people like me will see this and not order now through him? There should just be one thread though about this... too bad the other one got "moved" to somewhere no one can view it.

x2 i agree with it needs to stay at one post...but people need to know...This brings me back to the whole ssac thing...everyone makes posts about them and no one gets all but hurt...it seems only matts buddies are the ones getting all **** about this.

 

im glad this thread was here.. i would have ordered a mani and dp from him but took my business elsewhere and im glad i did. id hate to know this 6 months after i have a car parked on my driveway not running that some knucklehead cant get my order made. must make you esp. pisses knowing it can all be fabbed up from start to finish in 1 day.
when my mani builder said it would take 3-4 weeks i assumed that was because he was estimating my order into a long list and he wouldnt get to start it for 3 weeks or so. so it seems everyone gets backed up. but i dont see whats hard about being honest about it. or offering a refund. its not like it costed them anything to not build you a mini

 

Well I have rebuilt my motor, painted the car and had someone install a 10 Point cage but the main ingredient the turbo and manifold.... Still waiting. Project 9 second is put on hold perhaps another couple of months

Yeah this stuff needs to be known! If I had ordered I would have done it with a credit card and done a chargeback a loooooong time ago. I don't put up with sh!tty service when there are so many competitors out there willing to do it right. I think you did the right thing by exposing the truth. Onefab added to my crappy vendor list.
