This amount of carbon normal in manifold & turbo?

This amount of carbon normal in manifold & turbo?
I boosted my d16z6 for a lil bit before I broke something. Im in the process of replacing it with a D15b.
Anyways, I pulled the turbo kit off and am wondering, is the amount of carbon on the manifold and turbo normal?
I THINK my car was running rich when it was boosted.
