Default aluminized steel vs stainless steel i/c piping

ive seen people use both of these for piping. i dunno which is cheaper and/or better. does anyone know which would be better to use for i/c piping. btw, i dont care for BLING. its gonna be painted either way. which is heavier? cheaper? longer lasting? etc.... thanks.

i tried to search, but i dunno wtf to search for....

go with steel cause from what i heard welding alum is expensive and you will need to if you want to your bov flange on there.I think steel will be cheaper also.

I would go with the alumunized pipe to keep costs down. If you are painting it anyways you might as well. The only benefit of stainless is that it won't rust as well as the bling bling factor. But if you want that you might as well go with aluminum instead. I believe the aluminized is probrably a little lighter as well. Either way, you can't really go wrong. HTH

Aluminized Steel if fine, cheaper and lighter. To my experience...it doesn't rust.

i used aluminzed steel for my piping. nice and cheap the way i like it. aluminized steel means that the STEEL piping has a special coating on it. thats all
Yeah, just don't machine polish it... painting is fine.

I'd only go with two choices: Aluminized Steel or Aluminum charge pipes. If your concerned about weight aluminum is your material, although at a higher cost. If weight is not as much of a factor as money Aluminized Steel is perfect and easy to work with.
In your situation I'd pick Aluminized Steel tubing.

weight isnt the main factor, money is! i wasnt interested in ALUMINUM piping... it was aluminized steel or stainless steel. but either way. i'm gonna go for aluminized steel. getting them from a muffler shop and using couplings for now or depending on the price, getting them welded.

thanks for all ur help guys.... have one on me!
