Default Stainless steel charge piping

I have stainless steel piping (2.5 inch) laying around my house and it is in real good condition and i have U-bends and everything. I was wondering if stainless steel piping would be alright to use for charge piping for my turbo setup or if it would be better to use aluminum piping. If anyone has any experiences with stainless steel charge pipes please let me know how that went. Any pros or cons to using this are welcome....thanks

Stainless Steel is fine. It's just heavier than aluminum.

The only concern is the weight, and the pain in the *** of cutting it.

But that is what my new chop saw if for.

Well why ask when you already know the answer.

How about asking if anyone has any experience with your wastegate problem. That would be a little more interesting.

I would run anything I got for free. I think he should just run it, would save him some cash.

I would be more worried about heat dissipation then corrosion, weight or "bling" factor. SS is a poor heat conductor so SS IC piping would retain heat in the piping. Aluminum on the other hand is a good heat conductor (heat sinks are made of the stuff) so it absorbs the heat from the intake air.
