Default Almost No Vaccum

Hi,

After a few wot runs, my car first would not vac past 10psi though it continued to boost as normal (8psi). Just before this it was at about 17psi vac at idle. Since this has happened it has gotten worse. Now it won't vac or boost more than 4~5 psi. I checked all of the new vac lines that were installed with the turbo. Even bypassed all of them and the vac did not go back to normal. The car hasn't seemed to have lost any power (other than that due to the lack of boost). Anyone have any ideas?

Here's the setup:

Stock B16a2
Greddy kit, 18g 8psi
Intercooled
450cc Injectors
Tuned with Chrome

Thanks

Do a leakdown and a compression test to make sure it is not your pistons, rings or cylinders.

Did you document the low vac on Crome or from the boost/vac gauge?

the vac/boost is measured via a manual boost gauge.

check your boost gauge line. if it got pinched at all it will give you a false reading.

ps: don't ask me how I know this. lol.

Datalog the map signal in crome. I bet your line isn't hooked up right...

I was gonna say, my boost gauge read vacuum terribly wrong, but Crome was fine. Glad you got it taken care of!!
