Default All you turbo/JRSC cars with high boost, what C/R do you run?

I have a JRSC ITR and am building the internals up. I might eventually go turbo and need to know what C/R to do so I can run high boost. Thanks. BTW, how much power do you loose by dropping the compression.

from what I have gathered, you would want 9:1 or lower to run a lot of boost

I ran the JRSC @ 8 psi using the stock 10.2:1 compression of the B16A2.

Well, when I stop buying parts and finally assemble everything, I'll be running in the 9.8:1 range. Maybe closer to 10:1 after cleaning up the deck and head surfaces. I'll be running whatever boost is necessary to get 400+whp. Probably 20-24psi

boosted hybrid is running 11:1. All depends on tuning and how much boost you want to run.

Yea i run 11:1 compression with intercooled/alcohol injected/turbo. It all comes down to how you tune your car. Anything is possible. I daily drive my 11:1, so all that hype that high compression is a bad thing is bullshit. I have written about high compression and boost before, so do a search on the topic you will find the answers you are looking for the archieves.

Funny story, when i was getting my 11:1 compressoin b16 engine built, I picked it up from the machine shop. The machine shop in my town does awesome work but mainly does domestic stuff. When the guy found out about my compression with boost, he immediately told me that it couldnt be done, and would see me back in a few weeks for a new rebuild. Needless to say, after the engine was broken in and tuned, i drove back to give this guy a hell ride. I gased up with 110, ran pure methanol injection and put the boost up too 14lbs. Not only did he **** his pants, the guy now is a believer in imports being able to make some power. I went back there a few months later to prove the car still ran, he still does not believe that it works. I just shrug my shoulders and smile when people tell me something cant be done, when anything is possible. **** 12:1 is possible w/boost, but you are talking some serious tuning and high octane gas.
