afc hack CEL and limp mode in third gear, sohc

Default afc hack CEL and limp mode in third gear, sohc

like the title says about halfway through third my CEL comes on and the car goes into limp mode. any ideas i belive the CEL is for map sensor but i havent checked it in a while. any help is appreciated

code 1 and 3 and im betting its not code 1 putting it into limp mode

code 1 is the oxygen sensor... time to get a new one

and the code 3 is the MAP sensor and thats the one that trows u on limp mode

u either have to low of settings on the VAFC.. like -29% or so or u are boosting 10+psi

im at like -19 at full boost and its at 7 psi

Anything below -35 at 10-12 psi and up will put the car in limp mode....You should be no where near -19 under boost with 440s...

Change your in and out settings to -6 and -6. That should do it.

just tuned a 8 psi t3 b16 a on the dyno with a vafc last week... set the base timing to 18 degree. pull the vafc down to -45ish from 4500 to redline.. below 4500 set it to 35-8...

turn the fuel presure up to like 55 with vacuum off... see what that will do for you ..

put the settings at around -30 on full boost, run it on 3rd and tell me if still there

it idles with the afc set at -32 anyhting below and it idles like expletive

-19 is too rich. The richer you go on the set-point, the more you become prone to CEL due to the map curve.
