p1106 Baro Code
I keep throwing a p1106 Baro Pressure Sensor code everytime my car goes at least 2-3 psi into boost. I thought a CEL wouldn't be thrown until you hit roughly 11psi??? I'm using an SAFC with DSM 450's on my 99 EX. The turbo kit is the Greddy 15g intercooled. I kept throwing a p1399 for a Manufacturer Specific Misfire but that code is gone now, and I keep throwing this one everytime I boost. I have my sensor set as Pressure with IN 06 and OUT 06 which reads a 1.75 bar MAP sensor if I'm not mistaken, and my settings are fairly tuned pretty well on HI and LO settings, I can't really think of what else could be going on??? Connections are all good, I'm just wondering if there are any settings on the SAFC that are critical other than the HI and LO settings, throttle points are at 10 and 50, and the car type is 4 cyl. with the arrow pointing up and to the right. Any help would be great.

Re: p1106 Baro Code (SOHCex20)
If you are getting a baro code at 3 PSI then the SAFC isn't doing its job. You have either spliced into the wrong wire (not the MAP) or your corrections are not large enough to prevent a MAP overvoltage at the ECU.

Re: p1106 Baro Code (beepy)
No, I made sure that the connections were correct probably 3 or 4 times. I'm pretty sure off the top of my head its the red wire with the green stripe, or green wire with the red stripe, I can't remember exactly, and I made sure which one is supposed to go in, and which one goes out. I've read up that with that code set, it doesnt do anythign to effect timing, or fuel, and its just a code that sets on some OBDII cars, and some it doesnt. Also, I've posted this before, but no one really answered my question, is tehre any way to keep your car from going into limp mode using the hack over 11psi????? I want to boost around 12-13 psi but want to make sure I'm not going into limp mode. Any suggestions for that?? If not, I just wanna make sure that the p1106 stays away. Thanks
