AFC/ECU Reads Different Boost from Gauge
I recently went with an Uberdata setup on my car. So I happily got rid of the aquarium parts, and my ECU was reading boost. However, I noticed that the AFC was not showing the same boost levels as what my gauge was showing. It is off around 3 PSI from what the gauge shows. Thinking that perhaps it was the gauge, I borrowed one and installed it. There were very minor differences, but the net result was the same.
I believe that the ECU is reading the same as what the AFC is reading, due to the fact that my A/F gauge is still sweeping in boost, low throttle, until about 3lbs register on my boost gauge.
Why would this be?
Boost gauge - T'd off of the manifold line that feeds to the FPR.
MAP sensor - mounted to manifold with o-ring intact
I dont like it sweeping even under a little boost, seeing red and boosting kinda freaks me out!
Any help/thoughts/ideas would be appreciated!

When I was running an AFC mine did that too. I have a 6.5 psi tial spring and my AFC would read around 8.5psi. I've heard to different views...some say the MAP is correct others say the gauge is...

Mine is the opposite... my AFC reads LESS than what my boost gauge does... and from what my ECU is doing, I would assume that the ECU is also reading improper information. I am going to try and find a different MAP sensor tomorrow and install that and see what happens. I just cannot understand how two systems would read different information based upon where they are after the butterfly.
