Default boost gauge related

is it worth buying a boost gauge because i was told that my avc-r has a display for boost?is the avc-r gona be more accurate then a boost gauge?i am just curious so i dont have to spend money for no reason.thanks for any input.

the avc-r is gonna be the most acurate seeing how it uses it's own map sensor. i have both a boost gauge and the avc-r and they both read the same. it also depends on weither or not you are comfortable with kpa (avc-r) vs. psi (autometer gauge for instance).

my friend has a autometer sport comp boost gauge and it's off by 1.5psi when he was dyno tuned but his avc-r was right on,and i also dont want to spend $200 on defi.

For the price I think it's worth getting a boost gauge. The mouting location of the gauge is normally better than and AFC-R

platinum.
