aeromotive pump took a ****?
Had this Aeromotive A1000 pump for the whole summer and then I park the car for a month without driving, today I start the car and battery died. After I charged up the battery, the aeromotive pump just don't sound right any more. I have full tank of gas and the sound reminds me of fuel starve. Fuel pressure is still good but kinda fluctuating and abit lower than before. Maybe it's me but the pump felt kind of weak. The sound is like woom woom woom with little bit of z in it instead of the normal zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Anyway, I'll check if it's getting enough voltage since my battery already took a **** just too lazy to change.

Re: aeromotive pump took a ****? (Evo Hybrid)
these pumps are VERY sensative to voltage fluctuations, get your charging system up to snuff and it'll sound much healthier

Hope it turn out to be my charge system.
Btw, anyone running AEM EMS on EG have problem with voltage fluctation. This has been happening to me ever since I had the EMS. When I datalog, all the sensors tends to go up and down following the voltage. Then again my voltage is weird too since it won't hold a constant amount, it goes up and down anywhere from 12.5V - 13.5. The problem cause the fuel correction go bazerk so a/f won't hold steady either and when I try to datalog anything, the lines are constant mini waves, very hard to tune on the street. AEM engineers told me alot of EG have similar problem due to bad voltage regulator located somewhere in the car. I have not had luck fixing the problem.
