AEM Fuel Rail
Any of you guys have any problems using these on FI setup? I bolted on an AEM FPR and the FP was ALL over the place when idle with vacuum off the pressure went off the 100psi gauge! The car was spluttering stalling all the time (haven't even driven it yet!). Replaced with OEM rail with AEM FPR and success! normal idle, no stalling but still missing slightly.. I have an uprated walbro 190l/ph fuel pump running RC310 injectors..

I have one of the older ones without the extra fitting for a 1/8" gauge or whatever. Been running great on my car for about 4 years now while it was in NA form. Starting tomorrow she'll be seeing boost. Walbro 255 with RC 550 injectors. Gonna see how she does.

You're not supposed to install the plug in the hole behind the regulator. It needs to be open to allow fuel to flow into the regulator and out the return fitting. The hole is tapped in case you want to run a remote mounted fpr. Then you can plug the hole and run a line from the end of your rail into the remotely mounted fpr.

Re: AEM Fuel Rail (Tyler H)
Hi Tyler.. I just inspected the rail again. The hole I plugged up was on the left! I did a quick and simple test. I lit a cigarette and blew smoke down the rail! The unplugged hole (where the FPR was bolted on to) had smoke coming out, So I assume the hole was plugged up right! This is really giving me a headache..
The AEM Rail makes a great bong though

Drugs are bad, mkay?
Are you sure the hole on the rail lines up with the hole on the regulator when you bolt them together? If not, this is the problem.

Re: AEM Fuel Rail (DaX)
Yep it sure does! You have 4 holes on the AEM 'logo' bit right? The first hole where the 'A' is plugged up. The second hole is a bolt hole, the third hole is where fuel comes in and the 4th hole is another bolt hole. I assume this is where the FPR sits?
Blew smoke down it and smoke came out of the 'third' hole.
