AEM ECU..?
Colin and I have spoken and everything is (and was) ok.
The standard price for installing a chip into an OBD I ecu is $50 as listed on the web site.
AEM and Hondata sell to different parts of the market. AEM will be doing 6 cylinder and automatic vehicles. Hondata will not. There are no standalone systems that allow full injector fuel and ignition tuning in the price range we offer.
Hondata sells tuning solutions starting from $225 that are fully dealer tuneable if the dealer in question has Stage 4. So basically Hondata systems are aimed at people who do not want to tune their own cars, but want a (preferably) skilled tuner to do so.

Nobody was flaming you Collin, just pointing out that what you said originally -
was inaccurate and that if you are pushing a product and make an erroneous statement about your competition that people will question your motive. Granted, you said you did not know about Hondata. Now you do.
Also, in reply to what was said by someone earlier, I do not feel that comparing the two products is like comparing apples to oranges. Both products offer a solution for complete engine management and the ability to adjust your timing and fuel curves for boost, nitrous, etc. They both are perfect to compare with one another. It is lke comparing a DC header to a Greddy header. They both provide the same function.

With Hondata everytime you rechip thats 370 dollars right there plus the cost of the tunning and dyno.

"With Hondata everytime you rechip thats 370 dollars right there plus the cost of the tunning and dyno."
To be fair, I believe one dealer may have quoted that price.
