Default Adding injectors to D-Series Intake Manifold

Has anyone succesfully added a fuel rail and 4 injectors to the stock intake manfold on the D16? I'm going to go the extra injector approach on my project to try something different (running the MegaSquirt homebrew ECU).

Alternatively.. are there any aftermarket IM's that have extra bungs on them already? The edelbrock one looks interesting but IIRC there is no d16 application.

Edelbrock just came out with a D-Series manifold and I believe it comes setup for the four extra injectors. Why do you need four extra injectors though? Just get big enough ones to begin with.

Wasn't aware they have a D-series manifold. We'll go that route probably. I do have a spare stock manifold though.

Smaller injectors are cheaper.. I want to do something different, this wil be a good test of the injector control circuit board design from Megasquirt. If it works well, I'd like to ultimately switch the whole engine over to a control program running on QNX. Until then, I want the stock reliability / idling, and I'll seperate out the boost maps.
