Overboosted after aftermarket cat install
I have a '99 Accord i4 VTEC t3/t04 turbo, Spearco FMIC, etc etc. (F-Max kit). Anyways I have Greddy EVO catback and i decided to install the Random Technology Cat. I love the cat and i havent dynoed the car after installin it but once i installed the cat i started overboostin. I was originally hittin 9psi and then after the cat i started hittin 11psi. At first i thought that this cat was doin wonders for my car b/c the car was haulin ***, but then i noticed it was overboostin. So i guess that the cat freed up some air flow and caused the exhaust somehow to spin the turbo more, thus causin me to boost 11psi and start detonatin a little. Anyways, just wanted to warn anyone doin that install so they know to watch their boost level.

The reason for the overboost is because of the pressure diference from the mani side to the exhaust side of the WG. By freeing up the exhaust it will increase the pressure difference=increased boost.
