about that boost controller....
been trying to make up my mind which way to go for a boost controller. the AEM truboost is obviously the low cost route since you get a boost gauge and controller fro $280, my only worry is with the boost spike stories that are floating around about this piece. do we have any users on here? they finally get it working right over at aem?
plan b is a plain boost gauge and apexi, hks or blitz electronic boost controller. i've noticed the used blitz units going for $200 ish and the new apexi avcr being the most spendy, not to mention largest physically of all.
what's the best bang for your buck with these?

Electronic boost solenoid is the best way to go if you don't want to spend a lot of money. I think hondata makes one. I run one on my car and I control it thru ectune. I know it works with most ems's.

I'm not sure what boost features crome has compared to Ectune/Hondata/Neptune. If it has the boost solenoid (Mac valve) features, then your better off going down that route. The solenoid is like $50 or so and is really easy to fit. I don't think you'll find a better bang for buck.
