does anyone know how to build a homemade boost controller? If so what parts are needed. What do you guys recommend for controlling boost on a budget? Thanks

i tried... took me three days to make it and i never finished it because i didnt have a ball bearing. i said fugg it and bought a turboxs manual boost controller. if you think about it... if that boost controller (the homemade one) breaks... in such a way where it makes you max boost... yer screwed cuz you wanted to save $40.

 

don't mess with those homemade boost controllers... some things just aren't meant to be home made.

 

dont do it. youll spend more money fixing your car of the damage you cause, then what you will save by not buying the real thing. Greddy has a nice manual boost controller, so does HKS. Both are cheap, ALOT cheaper than repair costs.
