Default 99 Si turbo question

I recently installed a drag kit on my 99 Si. Everything is great, runs fine. I am at 6 psi right now and have an inline fuel pump, and stock injectors. For the first question without having to by hondata or a v-afc, is 9 psi safe? if not what psi is? The second question to get to 9 psi (if it isnt safe) what should I do for fuel, scrap the inline and get a 255? or what size injectors? I know the fuel has to be there, just wondering whatare some good combinations for 9 psi. Thanks in advance.

i wouldnt recommend 9psi mainly because of the timing maps on the factory ecu. youll be around 30 degrees of total timing at 9psi which in my mind is way too much. i would recommend either 440cc or 550cc injectors and either uberdata or hondata for tuning. also im not a big fan of the inline pumps so id just go with a walbro 255lph if i were u.

I have heard the running JUST an intank pump....such as a 255 lph will not work with an FMU...is this true? Just wondering or do I keep the Inline pump with the 255 lph pump and the FMU all together?

you dont need inline pump when u have 255lph pump. It works fine with fmu.

If you're running a 255lph pump (assuming it's a walbro) make sure it's the high pressure model if you want to run it in conjunction with an fmu...if it's not you'll still want to use the in-line pump.

Not Exactly, as 95gsrcivic said, Unless you get the HIGH POWER 255 pump than I would keep the inline in there! If you get injectors, EMS, and ditch the fmu than a reg 255 will work (DONT get the stock replacemant pump from walbro, make shure you get the 255 or the 255HP). As for injector size, that depends on high much power you want to make. I would guese some 440's or 550's would work fine if your keeping that stock block. Oh ya, I would boost past like 7 or so psi unless you get at LEAST a BTM from MSD.
