Do I need to upgrade my stock fuel pump?
I have a 99 Civic Si
I will be running a turbo and plan on only pushing about 7-8 psi. Maybe less, maybe more.
I don't have to get a stronger fuel pump do I? Stock one should suffice with small boost? Let me know. Thanks.

If you will be running high fuel press. by all means get an inline pump that can handle up there, say a Bosch or Airtex.

you will need more fuel with your turbo setup to keep from leaning out and destroying your engine. If you specify what kind of turbo you would be running rather than amount of boost (6 psi on a T25 is not equal to 6 psi on a T3/TO4E) you would get more accurate answers....oh yeah what engine also...

I got a question about my setup also. Right now I got a 2000 Si Greddy kit TD05 18G with 310 injectors and high flow intank pump 225lph. I plan on boosting 14 psi with 700+cc injectors and hondata 2b. Will I need a bigger fuel pump if I were to run 14 psi of boost?

With a Hondata and 700 cc injectors you can keep your fuel pump. You could have stayed with the stock fuel pump since your using the Hondata to control your injectors.

As I understand it, upgrading your fuel pump is crucial if you are running high pressures. However, if you're going to be using Hondata and some big injectors, the stock one should be okay since you'll be at about 48 psi of fuel pressure at 8 psi of boost.

So, yes get an inline helper pump. Or run huge injectors with hondata and the walbro 255 should do.

That seems weird, maybe its because you were running the stock hondata program, you should turn up the duty cycle on the injectors when you tune it
I run RC 440's with a walbro 255 lph, and the pressure is set to 40 psi, so basically I got the Walbro just to have a new fuel pump, the car was tuned to run 12:1 A/F at 200 ft above sea level.
