99 gsr boost!!
I towed my car to Jacksonville, FL to let Mase tune it. I had my local guy touch it up when I swapped intake manifolds but it's about time to change some other things around and get it completely re-tuned. I'm either going back to FL or even thinking about the 11hr drive to TX to see T1.

More and more builds have been done on higher compression now because guess what? This isnt 1993 where people didnt know how to tune a ****ing car correctly.
I dont know about you but maybe your tuner is garbage. Im 100% confident that my tuner can tune my 10:1 GSR that makes MORE power than your car and has no problem being daily driven.
And guess what, my Vtak works, thats right, its all that and a bag of chips.
So if youre done spreading false information around on these boards why dont you go delete your account, or you can just man up and take the fact that youve been proven wrong.

Its funny how you look at the posts that I made to ask for help on something specific that was pissing me off and then twist it to make it look like I dont know what im doing. I have a daily driven fully built turbo car. When you have one of those, you have issues from time to time. I'm sure that my car is faster than yours, better than yours, will last longer than yours, and can make more power than yours. And it will stay like that forever. Because your a no talent noob. You probably think aero kits make you go fast. And these days cars are not built to higher compression to be turbo'd. That just shows how retarded you are. Lower compression is better for forced induction, and it always will be. Since the early 90's to now, tuning software has gotten better, but fuel is not magicially able to withstand more heat and pressure. So limits on what you can do on pump gas (without water meth injection) will ALWAYS BE THERE. But you seem to think that in 2010 high compression motors are what people boost, and somehow detonation doesnt exist. 9:1 compression is ideal for boost. Does that mean you can't boost higher? No. My buddy had a fully built 11.5:1 B20Vtec on boost. But he could only get about ~300WHP out of it on pump gas before there was detonation. So he went to race fuel and ended up making 49XWHP. Go online and look at some "turbo" pistons and you will see that all the pistons designed for turbo setups are LOW COMPRESSION. This is simply because the larger area in the combustion chamber makes there be less of a chance of having the mixture detonate. Also dished pistons reduce the chance of detonation because they reduce the chance of there being any hot spots on the edges of the piston "domes". And since turbo increases the effective compression ratio per pound there is no point in higher compression pistons since the whole entire point behind turbo is to artificially raise the compression to make more power. So if your building it, you might aswell do it so that your the safest for any amount of boost.

what about that egg smell? It was my alternator, the regulator failed and killed my battery. Probably was also the cause of the ECU dieing.
