99 civic check engine light?

Default 99 civic check engine light?

I have a 99 civic si with p28 chipped crome with a obd2 to obd1 wiring harness...how do i check the check engine light...let me know thanx!

jump the 2 wire blue plug located directly above the ecu (under and to the right of the glove box). the plug maybe be plugged into a green rubber boot or it just may be dangling. the check engine light will flash once the wires are looped. one long blink counts as 10 and one short blink counts as 1, add them up and youve got your code number
