Default 94 Civic EX with a Greddy Turbo kit...What other modifications can I make?

I'm running a 94 civic EX D16Z6 with a Greddy turbo kit. I would like suggestions on how I can improve as I'm lacking at around 6000RPM's. I also have the Apexi AFC Vtec controller and would like some suggestions on how to tune it to match up with the turbo. Any suggestions?

I suggest uberdata. Or if you want the car to run nice, hondata.

don't spend any more money on computers ... emanage is a pretty good tool ... I got the same kit for my 95EX ... All you need is bigger injectors: RC440cc (the expensive ones but easy to install), or DSM 450cc (the cheap ones, but need resistor box) ... Then add boost controler, such as E-01 (the epensive one) or just a regular digital GReddy boost controler (not so expensive, but not so cheap as well) and rise the boost level with some hepl of a tunner ... Oh, put an intercooler and BOV, as well as you can upgrade your exhaust system ... That's all ... this way you can run up to about 10-12psi on stock motor, but good tunning is needed for sure. You don't need another fuel pump if running up to 10psi, but for 12 you may need, may not ... I would put one (Walbro 255)

Good luck

your wrong..e-manage sucks...nothing but CELS.biggest pain in that whole kit....get uberdata with 440's....get on a dyno and get your car tuned ....i got the same setup you got with the exact same 94ex and i gained 25whp with tuned-uber over that emanage basemap they give you

First things first if you don't have them I would recommend.....
1. intercooler kit with BOV
2. Full 2.5" exhaust and either a high flow cat or test pipe
3. upgrade the fuel system and have it tuned on some proper engine management by a good tuner. 440cc injectors will work fine for you and i would also go with a walbro 255lph fuel pump. *this is key to making your engine last and run well*
4. boost controller - you should add this at the same time as tuning so you can be tuned for higher boost and be able to run a lower setting daily and higher for race
5. intake manifold - I recommend edelbrock performer x
All in all if you do all of the above properly you are good for over 200whp

how do you come to have only CELs when I'm using emanage with no CELs at all ... I haven't seen my CEL ever ... I'll put bigger injectors and still stay with emanage and still gain WHP with new map in it ... noone said that the base map is a good one, it runs just safe with lots of fuel, that's all
