Okay, I have fixed a lot of stuff since the turbo install but have some more problems that may be common. Maybe someone can help me out? I am still getting MIL 23 (Knock Sensor). I replaced sensor. Still comes on. Mixed gas with 1 gallon 130 un fill up. no MIL for a week. Now, comes on most of the time, even when mixed w/ 130. WTF?? Also, boosts weird. diffrent amount of boost for each gear. not much in first, second is right at 5 smooth, 3rd goes to five but at full throttle flutters and engine stutters. Wastegate? I cannot make my car go full throttle because boost jumps and goes to high and engine flutters. also boggs down (like i'm towing something). MSD boost retard is at 0 for now. I have a old manual boost controller (dial type). When i accidently didn't push in (meaning was running the spring in the wastegate) the car ran great but i had to shift at 5k at 10psi. but felt smooth. so, is this the wastegate or what? I took apart the wastegate and it looked clean inside. kit was used so it sat in a garage for maybe a year or so. I am thinking of just upgrading to a new tial wastegate and get a profec b boost controller. hoping this would help. Please any ideas or comments would be great. I am just trying to get this thing running right and getting very frustrated! sorry for the long post. Thanks!!
